EWMC seeks female campus journalists in West Africa

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 29, 2024 — Female campus journalists in West Africa can apply to join Campus Reporter’s Empower Women in Media Cohort (EWMC).

The cohort is dedicated to empowering committed female campus journalists across West Africa with sustainable skills to thrive in the media ecosystem.

EWMC features an 8-week long training where successful applicants will receive training and mentorship from accomplished female journalists, pitch stories and apply for story grants, and gain hands-on experience in niche reporting, among others.

Applicants must be female undergraduates in a West African tertiary institution.

The deadline for applications is February 29, 2024.
