Fellowship for advanced humanities research at NHC

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 5, 2023 — The National Humanities Centre (NHC) has a fellowship designed for scholars engaged in advanced humanities research.

For the 2024–25 academic year, the NHC welcomes applications from scholars around the world interested in generating new knowledge and furthering understanding of the human experience.

Scholars can apply for year- or semester-long fellowships. They may also be eligible to participate in the centre’s month-long summer residency programme.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Applicants must have a doctorate or equivalent scholarly credentials. Mid-career and senior scholars are encouraged to apply.

The stipend amounts for Fellows are individually determined, according to the needs of the scholars and the Centre’s ability to meet them.

The deadline for applications is October 5, 2023.
