Fellowship on public health emergencies in Africa

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 13, 2022 —The World Health Organisation Regional Office for Africa (WHO AFRO) seeks applications for a fellowship on public health emergencies.

WHO AFRO will provide financial support to the fellows to cover tuition and research fees.

Through a three-month fellowship programme, WHO AFRO will provide financial support to 15 Master’s degree students, PhD fellows, and emergency public health managers and leaders to cover tuition and research fees.

Fellows will acquire advanced skills and competencies for strategising, managing and leading health programmes that will positively transform the future of public health emergencies in Africa.

Fellows must be citizens of any WHO Member State working on COVID-19, with priority given to citizens of Member States of the WHO African Region.

Applicants must also have relevant experience that has contributed to the advancement of public health emergency management in Africa.

The deadline for applications is November 13, 2022.
