Forus Journalism Fellowship programme for journalists worldwide

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 — Journalists from around the world can apply for the Forus Journalism Fellowship programme, a part of its #PositiveNarrative campaign.

This initiative is for journalists who have experience and passion in advancing social justice, human rights, and sustainable development by reporting on civil society and community-led activities.

Fellows for the Forus Journalism Fellowship will benefit from peer-learning exchanges, gain experience within an international civil society network and receive support to tell impactful stories that elevate the role of civil society.

Each selected participant will receive a micro-grant of €1,500 (VAT included) to support their reporting project.

The programme will support seven fellows, one per region: Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, Pacific, North America and Latin America.

Applicants must be early- and mid-career journalists working in print, photojournalism, video, broadcast, digital media or writing articles for online publications.

The deadline for applications is September 22, 2025.
