GBV reporting workshop for campus journalists

DEADLINE: AUGUST 15, 2023 — The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) has a virtual training on gender-based violence (GBV) reporting for campus journalists.

The workshop, which is facilitated in partnership with the Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF), will be held on the 24th and 25th of August, 2023.

The GBV reporting workshop aims to equip campus journalists with sustainable approaches to reporting on gender-based violence and other social issues.

After the training, selected campus journalists will receive mini-grants to spotlight instances of GBV and channels to report cases of violence to facilitate change and the development of new policy areas in higher institutions.

The deadline for applications is August 15, 2023.
