ICFJ to train 72 Nigeria, Sudanese journalists

DEADLINE: DECEMBER 10, 2020 ― The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is set to train 72 Nigerian and Sudanese journalists to help citizens overcome barriers to religious freedom.

The training, titled “In the Name of Religion”, offers a combination of online workshops, virtual in-person trainings, mentorship, promotion of stories, and grant opportunities to journalists.

ICFJ has enlisted two trusted African partners, Code for Africa (C4A) and Ayin.

ICFJ will train and link Nigerian and Sudanese journalists to illuminate issues of religious freedom across borders and illustrate them with examples of tolerance and coexistence.
