DEADLINE: JANUARY 15, 2021 ― Interested persons can apply for the Goethe-Institut memory project tagged Archive of Forgetfulness.
Entries can be in the form of short texts, films, photographic essays, sound pieces, video performances or a combination of the afforementioned that respond to the theme.
The contributions might be new or existing works but should not be older than five years. (For written submissions, only original, unpublished works are allowed. Translations may have appeared elsewhere in their original languages, but not in English.)
Preference will be given to submissions from the African continent.
Entries are to be accompanied with a 100-word biography and the contact details of the applicant.
Selected projects that are to be exhibited (online) will receive an honorarium of R5000.
