IWMF’s 2025 Courage in Journalism Awards open for nominations

DEADLINE: MARCH 30, 2025 — The International Women’s Fund for Journalism (IWMF) is accepting nominations for the 2025 Courage in Journalism Awards.

Now in its 36th year, the annual Courage Awards are open to full-time staff or freelance women or nonbinary reporters, writers, editors, photographers or producers working in any country and of any nationality.

The IWMF’s annual Courage in Journalism Awards honour women and nonbinary journalists who set themselves apart by exhibiting extraordinary bravery, persistence and resilience.

Past award winners report on taboo topics, immerse themselves in hostile environments and share difficult truths.

The deadline for nominations is March 30, 2025.
