Journalists can apply for Livingston Awards

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 1, 2021 — The Livingston Awards is currently accepting print, online, video, audio and data visualization entries.

The Livingston Awards for Young Journalists were established in 1981 to recognize outstanding reporting and bolster the careers of journalists under the age of 35.

Organizers will present prizes of $10,000 in three categories: local, national and international reporting.

Interested journalist must not be older than thirty-four years as of December 31, 2020.

Individuals and media organisations can submit applications.

Entries must appear in U.S. controlled media.

However, entrants are not required to be U.S. citizens.

Submitted entries must have been published on or before December 31, 2020.

Winners will participate in an outreach event arranged by the Livingston Awards.

The deadline for submissions is February 1, 2021.

Finalists will be notified by April 1, 2021.
