Journalists can apply for mental health reporting workshop

DEADLINE: JULY 16, 2023 — The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) and Mental Health KAFE (MHKAFE) are hosting a mental health reporting workshop for journalists.

Media professionals interested in reporting Health and Mental health issues can apply for this one-day hybrid workshop.

The workshop aims to improve the quality of mental health reporting in accordance with the journalism standards and integrity within Nigeria.

The workshop will include the introduction of a mental health toolkit that is specifically designed for the Nigerian context and address the unique challenges and issues faced by media professionals covering sensitive mental health issues within the country.

The deadline for applications is July 16, 2023.
