DEADLINE: JULY 15, 2022 —The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY seeks to train journalists from Europe, the Middle East or Africa on product development.
The intensive training on product development is facilitated in partnership with News Product Alliance and the Google News Initiative.
The training is slated for September 2 to November 9, 2022.
This training is designed for journalists and staff inside small to midsize local newsrooms, who have little or no experience with product development and management but who are interested in taking a product approach to better serving the information needs of their audiences and finding new paths toward sustainability.
Students must attend all live classes and small-group coaching sessions.
The training is free, in English and accessible online via Zoom.
The deadline for applications is July 15, 2022.
