Journalists, filmmakers can apply for One World Media Awards

EXTENDED DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 17, 2022 —The 2022 One World Media Awards are currently open for applications from journalists and filmmakers.

The One World Media Awards are open to journalists and filmmakers from anywhere in the world.

Across 15 categories, the Awards look to champion stories that demonstrate originality, creativity, and the potential to catalyse change.

All entries should highlight under-reported stories or issues, or explore new angles on familiar topics.

With the exception of the Special Award, all categories are open to entrants anywhere in the world.

Applicants can submit entries in the following categories: Digital Media Award; Environmental Impact Award; Feature Documentary Award; International Journalist of the Year Award; News Award; New Voice Award; Popular Features; Print Award; Podcast & Radio Award; Refugee Reporting Award; Short Film Award; Special Award; Student Award; Television Documentary Award; and Women’s Solutions Reporting Award.

The extended deadline for submission of entries is February 17, 2022.
