Knight Science Journalism fellowships open for applications

DEADLINE: JANUARY 9, 2025 — Knight Science Journalism (KSJ) is accepting applications for the Academic-Year and the Africa and Middle East Fellowships.

The Academic-Year fellowship will be offered to 10 science journalists from around the globe, and these fellows will receive an $85,000 stipend, a travel and housing stipend as well as basic health insurance for each fellow and their family.

The Africa and Middle East Fellowship is a one-semester fellowship, designed to enrich the training of a journalist from either of these regions so they can contribute to high-quality science and health journalism.

For the second fellowship, the fellow will get $40,000 stipend for the semester, MIT health insurance, travel and housing stipend, among other benefits.

The deadline to apply for both fellowships is January 9, 2025.
