Knight-Wallace Fellowships accepting applications from journalists

DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1, 2025 — The Knight-Wallace Fellowships seek applications from mid-career journalists with at least five years of experience.

Fellows receive an $85,000 stipend, an additional $5,000 for relocation, and full support for health insurance, course auditing and fellowship activities.

The programme offers an eight-month fully funded fellowship at the University of Michigan and gives journalists the time and resources to pursue an ambitious journalism project, develop new skills or tackle a challenge facing their newsroom.

We are looking for a diverse range of journalists, including reporters, editors, data experts, visual journalists, audio producers, engagement specialists, designers, developers, entrepreneurs and organisational change agents.

The deadline for international applicants is December 1, 2025.
