DEADLINE: MARCH 31, 2024 — Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) invites applications for the position of Programme Director for Africa and the Middle East.
The programme director will work with MDIF’s Investment Committee (IC), develop strategies for and manage MDIF’s work in Africa and the Middle East, taking account of needs of local media and risks and opportunities presented by the local political and economic environments.
Applicants must have proven experience in management of a news organisation and in journalism. Additional experience in finance and/or media support is a plus.
The programme director must also be fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
The Programme Director shall be based in Africa or the Middle East.
The deadline for applications is March 31, 2024.
