Media outlets, journalists can apply for $5000 Internews COVID-19 fund

DEADLINE: MAY 28, 2020 ― Applications are now accepted for Internews Information Saves Lives Rapid Response Fund.

The fund is open to grassroots and community-based media outlets, organisations and individuals that are working to provide local language journalism and other forms of public information related to the coronavirus pandemic and its impacts.

Internews expects contents to be designed to reach audiences in any medium including print, audio, video and on any platform: print, radio, TV, website, mobile phone, social media.

Interenews will fund applications that focus on underrepresented and marginalised communities.

Applicants who applied during the first round of application on or before April 8 are no longer eligible for this round.

Interested applicants should fill their applications forms and send to Health-RRF@internews.org

Grants in this round of application are one-time only and should be spent within 30 days.

Deadline for application is May 28, 2020.

Internews notes that only successful applicants will be notified. This is due to the high expected number of responses.
