Otufodunrin publishes book amidst COVID-19 lockdown

Executive Director of Media Career Development Network, Lekan Otufodunrin has added “UNLOCKED: Writings from COVID-19 lockdown” to his list of authored books.
The veteran journalist who once worked as an online editor at The Nation newspaper defied the COVID-19 lockdown to produce the new book.
The book titled “UNLOCKED: Writings from COVID-19 lockdown” is a compilation of incisive writings of the accomplished journalist and media career development specialist during the five weeks lockdown of Lagos and other parts of Nigeria due to the coronavirus crisis.
The book published in its electronic format is divided into three sections: Motivation, Interviews and Opinion/Analysis.
The purpose of this E-book, Otufodunrin said, is to showcase what he was able to achieve as a journalist without leaving his home in Lagos.
The platforms he wrote for included the website of the Media Career Development Network which he heads, Opera News and The Nation Newspaper.
He also granted interviews for some broadcast stations and online publications and participated in several Tweetchats.
Otufodunrin has over 30 years of media practice. He is presently Executive Director/Managing Editor of Media Career Development Network, Nigeria’s foremost media mentoring and coaching organisation.
Otufodunrin was former Managing Editor and Sunday Editor of  The Nation Newspaper and Group News and Political Editor of Punch Newspapers.
Otufodunrin is the President of Journalists for Christ and author of ‘The Journalist You Ought To Be’ and ‘Journalism of My Life’.
