Media Recognition Awards on diabetes, hypertension coverage

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 30, 2025 — The Merck Foundation is seeking applications for its Media Recognition Awards for the coverage of Diabetes and Hypertension.

Journalists from print, online, radio and multimedia platforms are encouraged to apply to showcase their work to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about prevention and early detection of Diabetes and Hypertension.

The grant amount for each category is $500. Sending multiple applications will increase the chances of winning the award.

Eligible countries for the Diabetes and Hypertension media award include Southern African, West African, East African, African French speaking, African Portuguese speaking, Latin American and Asian countries.

The deadline for applications is October 30, 2025.
