Minority Africa fellowship open for applications

DEADLINE: APRIL 24, 2022 —The Minority Africa Fellowship is open for applications from writers, photographers, filmmakers, and journalists.

The Minority Africa Fellowship targets journalists and storytellers from minority groups—women, sexual, gender, ethnic, and religious minorities, persons with disabilities, migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees—across Africa.

Fellows will receive monthly allowance, internet stipend and mentorship to report stories from and about their communities.

Fellows must be at least 18 years of age, from and living in an African country and must belong to at least one of the minority groups.

The deadline for applications for the first cohort is April 24, 2022.
