Mongabay is hiring Copy Editor

DEADLINE: ROLLING — Mongabay, an award-winning environmental science and conservation news organisation, is hiring a Copy Editor.

The Copy Editor’s main function is to proofread and fact-check Mongabay’s content pre-publication.

Knowledge and familiarity with environmental issues and/or forest conservation are strong positives.

Applicants must have at least three years of professional editing experience in journalism or narrative nonfiction; exceptional fluency in English, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

While there is no required location for this position, an ability to coordinate with colleagues working in a diversity of time zones is strongly preferred.
