DEADLINE: ROLLING — The International Press Institute (IPI) is accepting applications for the Press Freedom Editor and Communications Coordinator position.

IPI seeks an ambitious, talented individual who combines exceptional editorial skills with strong communications expertise and instincts.

The Press Freedom Editor and Communications Coordinator will edit IPI public advocacy and communications outputs, lead the production, develop and implement communications strategies and dissemination plans, and publish IPI press freedom and programme output, among other responsibilities.

Applicants must have exceptional English writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to produce impactful copy, with targeted campaign messaging and must be willing to dig deep as an editor.

IPI has a preference for this position to be based remotely in sub-Saharan Africa. This position is expected to begin in late fall 2024.
