Pro-health taxes journalism fellowship open to Nigerian journalists (US$1,000)

DEADLINE: AUGUST 22, 2022 —Nigerian journalists are invited to apply for Gatefield Impact’s inaugural pro-health taxes journalism fellowship.

Fellows will receive a grant of US$1,000 (NGN415,000) for the programme which begins in September.

Through the Gatefield Pro-Health Taxes Journalism Fellowship, fellows will provide investigative reports on SSB tax & other healthy food policies in Nigeria.

Fellows will learn to analyse and report on crucial health issues and provide relevant facts to the public, towards the greater goal of improving health outcomes in Nigeria.

Ten reporters and investigative journalists will participate in the six-month programme.

The deadline for applications is August 22, 2022.
