First Draft invites journalists to take part in its online safety webinar for journalists reporting the coronavirus.
Recall that I-79 Media Consults had reported that First Draft is organising online training for journalists covering the coronavirus on tackling infodemics and producing credible coverage.
The hour-long talk will cover topics like managing one’s identity online, VPN selection, browser hardening tips, and engendering a better understanding of one’s digital vulnerabilities.
Participants will walk away with concrete recommendations on how to better secure themselves when researching online.
Chris Dufour will be facilitating the webinar on online safety.
The session will take place on Thursday 7 May –11:00 EST (US, Canada)/16:00 Nigerian Time.
