Remote vacancies for Science Writers

DEADLINE: JULY 1, 2022 —The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF) are looking for science writers.

The science writers will work remotely and write science- and research-based news articles that reflect the missions of CIFOR-ICRAF and Global Landscapes Forum (GLF).

Applicants must have a strong journalistic and storytelling background and be able to write accurately and engagingly, weaving together information from multiple sources and meeting deadlines.

Interested science writers must have a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, (digital) marketing or a related, relevant field, with three years of full-time experience as a writer/editor for online media or print media.

Knowledge of French, Spanish, German, Bahasa Indonesia, Portuguese is a plus.
