DEADLINE: MAY 1, 2022 —Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers travel grant fund for journalists interested in covering biodiversity conferences and global summits.
This opportunity will enable journalists from around the world to cover conferences in 2022 on biodiversity for their home audiences, including the UN Convention on Biodiversity (UNCBD).
Professional journalists from established media houses, reporting from a low- or middle-income country can apply. Women, indigenous and early-career journalists are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have previous experience reporting on environmental issues. Stories may be produced in print, online, radio or broadcast formats.
EJN will award scholarships of up to US$2,500 each.
The deadline for applications is May 1, 2022.
