Senior Copy Editor needed at Code for Africa

DEADLINE: JULY 12, 2024 —  Code for Africa (CfA) seeks a senior copy editor with at least five years of copywriting or sub-editing experience.

For the remote vacancy, the copy editor must have a minimum of 5 years of copywriting or sub-editing experience in a fast-paced newsroom, in digital journalism, or non-governmental organisation.

Applicants must have an exceptional command of the English language, knowledge of fundraising strategies to help improve donor proposals, and previous experience developing style guides and training in-house teams.

The senior copy editor will be the team’s content champion, as he or she will take rough copies and shape them into concise, factual, easy-to-read content.
