DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 20, 2026 — Journalists from around the world are invited to apply for the Stigler Centre’s Journalists in Residence Programme at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
The 12-week journalists in residence programme offers participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of political economy through auditing classes, participating in seminars and workshops, collaborating with scholars and journalists, and engaging with the Stigler Center’s global network.
Successful participants will receive a $14,000 stipend, economy-class airfare reimbursement, visa and SEVIS fee reimbursement, health insurance, housing guidance, and a certificate upon completion. Participants will also have opportunities to write for ProMarket and engage with faculty and students at Chicago Booth.
Journalists with at least some years of professional experience, proficient English-language skills and an interest in deepening their knowledge of political economy are encouraged to apply.
The deadline for applications is September 20, 2026.
