Story pitches for CJID’s methane emissions reduction reporting initiative

DEADLINE: MARCH 9, 2026 — The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) invites Nigerian journalists to submit story pitches for the Methane Emissions Reduction Reporting Initiative.

Through its Natural Resource and Extractive Programme (NAREP), CJID seeks journalists with experience in investigative and accountability reporting, especially in environmental, extractive, and climate change investigations.

Female journalists are strongly encouraged to submit their pitches.

Applicants are required to submit their applications using this CJID’s reporting project pitch template.

The deadline to apply is March 9, 2026.
