Submit proposals on climate and health to get grants

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 27, 2023 — The Climate x Health initiative is offering small grants to interested organisations to strengthen joint advocacy, action, and accountability for climate and health.

The initiative is co-convened by Wellcome Trust, The Rockefeller Foundation, the Global Climate and Health Alliance, and Amref Health Africa.

Civil society, non-governmental, and not-for-profit organisations can submit proposals that have clear relevance to climate and health as well as a significant advocacy, communications, or capacity-building focus.

Organisations from all regions and geographies are eligible to apply, with a majority of funds ultimately designated for those in low- and middle-income countries or underfunded groups in high-income countries.

The organisers will award a handful of small grants between USD $5,000 and $10,000 to support proposals in two overarching categories, which include making the case for greater action and accountability on climate and health and building capacity and partnerships amid growing climate and health community.

The deadline to submit a proposal is November 27, 2023.
