The New Humanitarian seeks a staff reporter and editor

The New Humanitarian is accepting applications for the remote and full-time position of a staff reporter and editor.

The company is the only independent non-profit media outfit dedicated to covering humanitarian crises and holding the aid sector to account.

Applicants must have experience working in a breaking news environment, preferably as a reporter or editor in a global or regional newsroom or with an international wire service as well as excellent English-language verbal and written skills.

The New Humanitarian also seeks applicants with experience launching and managing newsletters and proficiency in French, Arabic, Spanish or other languages.

The successful applicant will join the team as soon as possible.
