DEADLINE: ROLLING — The New York Times is hiring a West Africa Correspondent, based in Dakar, Senegal, or within the region, to cover politics, culture, security, and social transformations across West Africa.
This role offers a rare chance to join a globally respected newsroom and report on a region undergoing rapid change—from geopolitical shifts to demographic trends, economic challenges, and cultural resurgence.
They will produce breaking news, features, analyses, and deep-dive storytelling across multiple media platforms.
