In addition to getting a net salary of N125,000, other benefits include career growth, health insurance, flexible work schedule (hybrid) and mentorship.
The trainee business journalists will research and write news articles, features, and analyses on economic, business, and financial themes; conduct interviews with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts; and assist senior journalists and editors with research, fact-checking, and story development.
Applicants must have Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Law or other related field (Second Class Upper).
Strong writing skills, excellent research and analytical abilities, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and passion for business and financial news are also required.
