DEADLINE: OCTOBER 22, 2024 — The True Story Award is open to all journalists anywhere in the world who produce written stories.
The True Story Award aims to make reporters’ voices known beyond the borders of their home countries.
Thirty-six best texts of the year will be nominated, and three winners will be selected. The winners will receive 20 000 US$ each in prize money, while all the 36 nominees (one per text) will be invited to the True Story Festival in Bern, Switzerland.
Texts should have been published between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024 in daily or weekly newspapers, magazines, or online.
The submission deadline is October 22, 2024.
