Wikimedia’s international photography competition opens to Nigerian photographers

JULY 31, 2023 — Photographers in Nigeria can apply for Wiki Loves Earth, an international photography competition to promote natural heritage sites around the world.

For the photography competition, applicants are to find a natural heritage or monument site, take a photo and upload it to Wikimedia Commons.

First to third prizes include N150,000, N100,000 and N50,000, respectively.

Everyone is welcome to get involved in the competition, whether as a participant (photographer), organisational volunteer, or both.

The deadline for entries is July 31, 2023.
