Applications for 2024 DAME Awards now open

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 23, 2024 — The 2024 edition of the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence (DAME) is currently open for entries.

For this annual award, journalists can submit entries in any of these categories: Business Reporting, Child Friendly Reporting, Education Reporting, Health Reporting, Insurance Reporting, Investigative Reporting Judicial Reporting, Lagos Reporting, Niger Delta Development Reporting, Nutrition Reporting, Energy Reporting, Radio Reporting, Solid Minerals Reporting, Sports Reporting, and Television Reporting, Editonal Cartooning, Editorial Wirting, Informed Commentary, Radio Drama, Television Drama Television Documentary, Best Designed Newspaper, Best Media Website, Child Friendly Photography, News Photography, Child-hiendly Medium, Newspaper of the Year, and Editor of the Year.

Entries, which must have been published in 2023, are limited to two per individual in a category.

Prizes for the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence include plaques, cash, certificates of merit, and professional tools (laptop, tablet and books).

The deadline for applications is September 23, 2024.
