Apply for Africa No Filter Operational Grants

ROLLING — Africa No Filter is accepting applications for its Operational Grants from media organisations whose work challenges stereotypical narratives about Africa.

Africa No Filter (ANF) supports the development of nuanced and contemporary stories that shift stereotypical and harmful narratives within and about Africa.

The operational support grants are awarded to Creative, Cultural and Media organisations on the continent who are championing contemporary and empowering narratives about Africa with focus on young people aged 18 – 45.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate how their work positively supports contemporary African narratives and empowers young African creatives.

Creative hubs, narrative change organisations, media houses, festivals, galleries, digital platforms among others can apply.

The grants are intended for programs that demonstrate how their work positively supports contemporary African narratives and empowers young African creatives.

Selected organizations will receive up to US$50,000.

Applications are ongoing and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
