Apply for ICFJ’s news business hub

Elevate, the International Center for Journalists’ (ICFJ) news business hub, is open to journalists running small- or medium-sized independent news outlets.

Selected organisations will have the opportunity to build stronger and more viable organisations through this ICFJ’s news business hub.

The 2023 programme kicks off with Pre-Elevate, a series of media entrepreneurship courses  held online in March, which is open to all.

After the online courses, media executives from anywhere in the world can apply to take part in the second Elevate cohort. They will receive intensive training, as well as be eligible for tailored mentorship and funding to tackle their major business challenges.

Up to 30 select organisations will receive training and collective mentorship over a period of four months. Afterwards, ten out of them will receive individual mentorship for three months.

After the first month of mentorship, each participant can apply for up to US $10,000 grant to develop business solutions.
