Apply for Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI) fellowship

DEADLINE: MARCH 25, 2022 –The Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute seeks proposals from innovative individuals and organisations for its 8-month fellowship.

Fellows can devise new strategies or models to solve a problem, build new tools, create a training workshop/program or build resources for journalists and newsrooms.

RJI Fellowships are open to U.S. citizens and U.S. news organizations. International journalists who plan to partner with U.S.-based news and/or organizations to address a challenge that impacts U.S. journalism and newsrooms can also apply.

The Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute has three types of fellowships: Residential, Nonresidential, and Institutional.

Applicants for the Residential and Nonresidential fellowships must be above the age of 18.

Residential fellows receive $10,000 monthly stipend and a one-time reimbursement for relocations up to $10,000.

Nonresidential fellows will receive a $20,000 stipend, payable quarterly in increments of $5000.

The Institutional fellowship is open to managers and executives from institutions or companies.

Institutional fellows will receive a $20,000 stipend, payable quarterly in increments of $5000 to their institutions.

The deadline for applications is March 25, 2022.
