DEADLINE: JUNE 18, 2025 — Early-career journalists can submit applications for the 2026 Sir Harry Evans Global Fellowship, a nine-month opportunity to pursue an investigative project with Reuters and Durham University.
The selected Fellow will work from a Reuters newsroom in London, New York, Sydney or Toronto, while accessing Durham’s research resources and receiving mentorship from top Reuters editors.
The fellowship includes a monthly salary of approximately £4,444, a £1,250 living stipend and a one-time £1,800 travel grant.
Ideal applicants will have between 2 and 5 years of professional journalism experience or equivalent investigative work in a related field. AI-generated proposals will be disqualified.
The Sir Harry Evans Fellowship encourages applications from members of groups which are underrepresented in journalism.
The deadline for applications is June 18, 2025.
