Code for Africa is hiring a News Editor

DEADLINE: DECEMBER 31, 2022 — Code for Africa (CfA) is hiring a full-time News Editor to help coordinate its multinational PesaCheck fact-checking team.

Candidates must have demonstrable newsdesk editorial management skills, honed during at least five years managing teams of journalists in a mainstream media or equivalent digital publishing environment.

The primary international language of the news editor will be English, with additional proficiency in Amharic, Arabic, French or kiSwahili being an advantage.

The deadline for applications is December 31, 2022.
