Earth Journalism Network 2022 virtual reporting fellowships

DEADLINE: MARCH 25, 2022 —Earth Journalism Network (EJN) seeks applications for a virtual fellowship programme that will support 10 African journalists.

The selected African journalists will cover the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP 15) to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) taking place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, in May 2022.

They will be awarded virtual fellowships and receive training, mentorship, communications stipend and other support to facilitate remote reporting on the event.

Applicants must be a professional journalist from or representing an established media house and reporting from a low or middle income country in Africa.

Applicants must have African citizenship and a good command of English language.

The deadline for applications is March 25, 2022.
