Journalists and media enthusiasts all over the world can apply and access free, self-directed video lecture series.
The video lecture series was launched by the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at The City University of New York (CUNY).
The masterclasses are taught in English by prominent American journalists.
The video clips include English subtitles/captions.
The inaugural episodes are “Investigating in the open” with David Fahrenthold of The Washington Post, and “Public-powered journalism” with Jennifer Brandel of Hearken.
Other episodes are TV News and Local Politics taught by Errol Louis, Why We Need Product Thinking to Save Journalism taught by Anita Zielina, Engagement with Facebook Groups taught by Hannah Wise, The Public Newsroom taught by City Bureau, Crowdsourcing and Community taught by Terry Parris Jr. and Video Storytelling for the Web taught by Kayle Hope.
