Gender-Sensitive Reporting Workshop on nutrition, food security, primary healthcare

DEADLINE: MARCH 7, 2025 — Journalists can apply for this Gender-Sensitive Reporting Workshop on nutrition, food security and primary healthcare.

The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), in partnership with Premium Times, will equip journalists with the skills to produce stories that drive awareness and accountability.

Applicants must be practising journalists with recognised media organisations in Nigeria, have a demonstrated interest in covering the issues of focus, provide evidence of prior reporting on one or more of the thematic issues and submit three published reports showing journalism expertise.

Applicants are also expected to submit a pitch on one or two of the thematic areas.

Participants will engage with experts, enhance their storytelling techniques, gain in-depth knowledge on gender-sensitive reporting and receive reporting grants.

The deadline for applications is March 7, 2025.
