Investigative reporters, editors can apply for safety masterclass

DEADLINE: AUGUST 22, 2024 — The Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ) invites applications for its Civic Space Guard Holistic Safety for Investigative Reporters masterclass.

The training is open to senior and experienced investigative journalists and editors in Nigeria.

Implemented in collaboration with the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) and supported by the Netherlands Embassy, the masterclass will equip senior reporters with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the evolving risks and challenges that come with investigative reporting.

It will feature tailored training sessions that address specific challenges encountered by participants based on their beat and location.

The deadline to apply is August 22, 2024.
