DEADLINE: OCTOBER 11, 2024 — Mass Communication students and campus journalists at the University of Maiduguri can apply for this Introduction to Journalism training.
The journalism training is a part of the Next Gen/Campus Reporter Project of the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID).
In addition to being students of the University of Maiduguri Mass Communication or campus journalists, applicants must submit a 100-word essay on “The Importance of Campus Press to a School Community.”
Selected applicants must also fully attend the four-day training. Skilled media professionals will train participants, who will receive certificates, post-training mentorship and access to publish stories on the Campus Reporter website.
The deadline for applications is October 11, 2024.
