Journalist & Editorial Officer role available at Courage Magazine

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 7, 2026 — Courage Magazine, the official publication of RCCG Women, is hiring a Journalist & Editorial Officer (hybrid, full-time role).

The successful candidate will be paid N250,000 monthly.

The role’s location is Redemption City of God, Mowe, Ogun State. Published quarterly, the magazine is currently primarily print-based, with plans to expand its presence into digital publishing.

This is an opportunity for a journalist who enjoys more than simply writing stories.

The organisation is looking for someone who has:

• Professional experience in journalism, publishing, editorial work or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong command of written English.
• Good research and fact-checking abilities.
• An understanding of journalistic ethics and professional standards.
• Experience covering events and producing publishable reports.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Basic practical photography skills.
• Sufficient understanding of magazine production to work effectively with designers and supervise the editorial aspects of layout.

Experience with magazines, newspapers, publishing, Christian media or similar editorial environments will be an advantage.
