Journalists can apply for Rest and Resilience Fellowship

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 19, 2023  The taz Panter Foundation and Reporters Without Borders (RSF) invite applications for the annual Rest & Resilience Fellowship.

The fellowship is for two journalists from countries with restricted freedom of the press and information to join the fellowship in Berlin for six months. These media professionals will have the opportunity to step away from their demanding daily obligations, allowing them to recuperate from challenging working conditions and broaden their personal and professional horizons.

The fellowship programme offers a range of workshops designed for further training and networking, strongly encouraging active participation.

The costs covered by the programme include visa and travel expenses, a furnished apartment in Berlin, travel health insurance for the entire six-month duration, and a monthly grant of 1000€.

Fellows will also receive psychological support, various workshops (such as digital safety training and stress management), and professional journalistic and/or personal training opportunities.

The deadline for applications is November 19, 2023.
