DEADLINE: MAY 15, 2022 —The Africa Foundation for Young Media Professionals (AFYMP) invites applications for funded media workshops.
AFYMP is organising 8 major in-residency workshops across eighteen states in Nigeria, which will cover the South West, South East and South-South regions.
Scheduled to hold in batches between June and September 2022, Batch A of the media workshops will hold in Lagos and Ibadan, while Batch B will hold in Owerri and Port Harcourt.
Media students, campus journalist, and social inclusion advocates are eligible to apply.
The workshops will cover the following themes: Media Entrepreneurship, Campus journalism; Increasing and building visibility of women in the media; and Media industry, disability and challenges of practise.
Participants will receive funding for transport fare, feeding, accommodation, and training expenses. Certificate of completion will also be given to participants.
The deadline for applications is May 15, 2022.
