Nigerian newspaper seeks reporter, senior correspondents

DEADLINE: MAY 14, 2025 — A leading Nigerian newspaper is recruiting for entry to mid-level journalism roles ranging from Reporter to Senior Correspondent.

The ideal candidates must have a solid grasp of news reporting (both for digital and print), strong writing skills and a passion for impactful journalism.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidates will:

  • Generate original story ideas and develop compelling news content
  • Conduct in-depth research and interviews
  • Write and edit clear, accurate and engaging reports
  • Cover beats, events and assignments in line with editorial standards
  • Work under tight deadlines while maintaining journalistic integrity

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidates are preferably young with excellent writing skills. Any degree is fine so long the candidate has excellent writing skills, is passionate about journalism and is ready for fresh challenges.

REMUNERATION
Aside from other perks, the salary range for these roles is N150,000 to N240,000 monthly, depending on the level of experience and competence.
