DEADLINE: OCTOBER 30, 2023 — The World Health Organisation Regional Office for Africa seeks entries for the 1st Regional Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Media Awards.
The awards are in two categories, namely the Regional AMR Champion Journalist and Media House Awards.
The awards seek to acknowledge journalists and media houses that have championed and demonstrated excellence in reporting, investigative journalism, storytelling, and advocacy related to antimicrobial resistance.
Journalists and media houses in private and commercial radio, community radio, television, print media, and online media operating within the African region can submit entries.
Entries must have been published or broadcasted between January 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023. Submissions can include articles, news reports, TV or radio segments, documentaries, podcasts, or online multimedia content.
The deadline for submissions is October 30, 2023.
